Refunds for online tickets are available until 30 minutes before showtime via our online portal! From the ticketing page, click the three-bar menu on the top right corner of the screen. Choose “Online Orders” and enter your ticket details to locate your ticket, then process your own refund. Self-service refunds are preferred for the safety/security of your credit card information which is encrypted in our point of sale system.

Beginning at 6pm, all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 21 years of age or older for all movies rated G, PG, & PG13. No child under the age of 17 will be admitted to any R-rated movie at ANY TIME OF THE DAY without a parent or guardian 21 years of age or older.
Patrons should report disruptive behaviors to theatre staff. Staff will direct any/all patrons behaving in a disruptive manner to stop the behaviors immediately. If behaviors don’t stop, patrons will be asked to leave the premises. If patrons refuse to leave, police will be called to remove patrons from property. If patrons are minors, the police will involve parents.
Yes! We sell virtual gift cards on our ticketing website. You will receive an email with a gift card code you can gift to others or use yourself!
No child under the age of 17 will be admitted to an R-Rated film unless accompanied by a parent or guardian 21 years of age or older. Please be prepared to show an ID at the theatre.
Van Wert Cinemas offers two types of technology to make our movie-going experience more inclusive for people with hearing and visual limitations. The closed captioning device we offer is called Captiview.
The hearing/visual impaired device is called Fidelio. If you require one of these devices, please ask the theatre staff for assistance upon arrival.
