Yes – rain or shine! You can still watch the movie in the rain and you can avoid the crowds!
General Admission Parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Our team has the right to direct you where to park. You may not “hold” a spot for a friend. If someone else wants it and there is not already a vehicle in it, they can have it.
We have installed white PVC posts to ensure even spacing of vehicles. There is enough room for 2 vehicles to park between each set of poles. You may be asked to move over if you have not allowed enough room for another vehicle to park next to you.
Where you park depends on the height of the vehicle you bring to the drive-in.
Short vehicles up to 5′ can park anywhere, but we recommend you park in the front rows nearest the big screen marked with TEAL-topped poles.
Medium sized vehicles over 5′ but less than 6′ tall can park in the middle or back of the lot next to a pole topped with either ORANGE or PINK.
Tall vehicles 6′ or more must park in the back of the lot next to a PINK-topped pole to ensure you do not block the view of others in smaller vehicles. Don’t worry — you will be able to see just fine!
We reserve the right to direct you where to park your vehicle. You may be asked to move your vehicle if you are blocking the view of others due to the size of your vehicle.
No, you should not plan to run your vehicle’s engine while watching any movies at the drive-in. The exhaust fumes and engine noise can be offensive to your drive-in neighbors. You can safely and efficiently listen to the movie audio over your vehicle’s stereo by placing your vehicle into ACCESSORY mode. (If you don’t know what that is, please google it.) If you have a medical condition requiring air conditioning, please go to an indoor theatre. Please accommodate drive-in staff’s requests to turn off your vehicle engine while the movie is playing. If staff requests to turn off your vehicle engine are not followed, you will be asked to leave without a refund.
Yes — but you must park in the back of the lot such that the children are not blocking the view of others behind you. Of course, you are responsible for the health and safety of your children at any of our drive-in theaters.
Reserved VIP Parking has been discontinued as we work through learning to use our new ticketing and point of sale system.
Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We strongly suggest arriving at least 1 hour before showtime
Yes! If your rear hatch extends above the top of your vehicle when opened, you may be provided a length of twine and asked to pull your hatch down so those behind you can see. Let’s follow the GOLDEN RULE at the drive-in and do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Please don’t get angry if asked to do this because you would be thankful if you were the one who could not see over someone else’s raised hatch.
Sorry, but no. The ticket you purchased is essentially a “license” to watch the movies paired for that double feature. You don’t have to stay to watch the 2nd movie you paid to watch, but if you want to watch the 2nd feature on the other screen, you must purchase another ticket to have the right (i.e., license) to watch it. These are movie studio rules, not ours. We are simply enforcing their rules to ensure they continue sending us GREAT movies for you to enjoy!
We offer numerous games that are fun for the whole family! These games are free of charge. Simply “check out” the equipment from “Concession Central” by giving a driver’s license (or other ID) as a refundable “deposit.”
Putt Putt Golf
Sand Volleyball (available in LC)
Corn Hole
Hillbilly Golf
Bocce Ball (available in LC)
That’s O.K. Be sure to show up in time for the 2nd feature. Yes, you will still pay the regular admission price.
Yes and No…
YES — you can smoke in your closed vehicle (all windows rolled up). Remember – while the movies are playing, your engine must be OFF.
No – you cannot smoke while sitting in your vehicle with the windows down even ½ inch.
NO – you cannot smoke outside of your vehicle – even if others around you say it is OK to do so.
NO – you cannot smoke MARAJUANA ANYWHERE on this private property. If you are suspected of smoking marijuana on our property (even in your closed vehicle), you will be asked to leave without a refund. If you do not leave, police will be called to escort you from the property. The law allows us to decide what can and cannot be allowed on our private property. Ohio law says private citizens may smoke marijuana but we can choose “not on our property”.
Refunds for online tickets are available until 30 minutes before showtime via our online portal! From the ticketing page, click the three-bar menu on the top right corner of the screen. Choose “Online Orders” and enter your ticket details.
To enjoy the movie audio at the drive-in, simply tune your car radio to the correct FM station:
87.9 FM for Screen 1 and 106.9 FM for Screen 2.
Make sure your radio is set to stereo for the best sound quality, and don’t forget to turn your key to accessory mode to save your battery!
If you’re interesting in renting a screen, you can find pricing information here.
A “Food/Drink Permit” must be purchased with admission if you bring edible items into the drive-in. People with medical conditions who require special diets are excluded from this policy.
Outside Food / Drink Permit (1 per vehicle) is $10 when purchased online with tickets or when purchased upon arrival. Each permit includes a coupon valid for $10 off at concessions with the purchase of $25 or more of food/drinks.
Why charge you a fee to bring food into the Drive-In? All movie theaters rely on concession sales to make the business work. A large percentage of gate receipts goes to the Movie Companies.
This fee — charged per vehicle, not per person — will allow customers who wish to bring their own food and/or drinks to the Drive-In the flexibility to do so (that would never be allowed at an indoor theater) while helping this Drive-In management to stay in business to entertain you again next year.
We encourage you to try our delicious food on your next visit instead of bringing your own food! The food we serve is made on site, so you know it is fresh and delicious!
The Field Of Dreams Drive-In Theater is a family-owned, affordable outdoor venue offering first-run double features and a fun, nostalgic experience that supports our local community.
